Welcome to the Swindon LAA Website
Marking a radical change in central and local relations, Swindon's Local Area Agreement (LAA) will bring public sector, local business and not for profit organisations together to deliver 30 priorities. Information on the 5 blocks of the LAA is available under the Swindon Partnership Board area of the website.
The 2008 Local Area Agreement proposals
Following consultation on a new Local Area Agreement with our strategic partners from Autumn 2007 to Spring 2008, the agreement was formally signed in late June 2008 with the Government. The new LAA2 booklet is now available. The 2008 LAA page contains full details of the consultation and delivery plans.
Swindon Residents Survey 2008
The third LAA survey was dispatched to over 7000 randomly selected households in Swindon throughout the month of June. Topline results from the 2008 LAA Survey can be found on the latest news page.
The New Community Strategy
With 100 partners, we have launched the Community Strategy document "A Shared Vision for Swindon". This was the largest exercise our partners undertook in 2007. We created a blueprint to shape future plans for organisations from the public, voluntary and business sectors within Swindon.
